God received another angel yesterday. If you had never heard of Lauren Hill, all you had to do was turn on ESPN yesterday. To see how much of an impact this young lady had not only on the sport's world, but on the world as a whole, leaves me speechless.

Lauren defines the definition of a true fighter. Shortly after Hill had committed to Mount Saint Joseph in October of 2015 to play collegiate basketball, she had been diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a terminal inoperable brain cancer.

Unlike many others, Lauren kept positive and was determined to "kick DIPG's butt". On November 2, 2014 Lauren Hill and the rest of her team took the court at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio against Hiram College. This was the freshman's chance to show the world how courageous and strong she truly was. Hill received a warm and welcoming cheer as she was introduced on the PA system and didn't take long to shock the world. She scored only 17 seconds in, as she came off a pick, caught the ball in the post, and converted the layup. She also converted the teams' last basket in regulation as Mount Saint Joseph defeated Hiram 66-55. Even though, she knew her death was coming sooner rather than later, Lauren did not let that stop her from putting a smile on her face during the game or the rest of her life. #1More4Lauren.
