2015 Final Four and NCAAB Championship Prediction

The rollercoaster that we call March Madness or as its now called "Izzo Month Madness" is slowly approaching an end. With the Final Four taking place this weekend in Indianapolis, it's time for predictions about the greatest weekend in basketball.

DUKE VS. MICH ST

Let's start with the first game on Saturday, Tom Izzo and the Spartans against Duke and Coach K. Huge headline players such as Sparty's Travis Trice and Duke's Tyus Jones headline the backcourt. The frontcourt, however is headlined by Wooden-Award candidate Jahlil Okafor, and Michigan State's shotblocking machine, Branden Dawson.

Final Score: Duke 74 - Michigan State 70

If you read Justin's article about Tom "March" Izzo and Michigan State, you could see why they'd win this game. But sadly, Sparty is known for their success in the month of March, and as of Wednesday, it's now April. That means that Michigan State's run as a 7-seed will end when they run into Coach K, Okafor, and the Blue Devils. The way Duke handled a solid Gonzaga team was amazing. The Zags were no joke this year, and Duke stayed strong for all 40 minutes. Duke is too good on both sides of the ball. Their a full team, and I believe that they can handle the trio of Trice, Valentine, and Dawson. Sorry Justin, but Izzo's run ends Saturday.

KENTUCKY VS. WISCONSIN

Now the game of the year. Forget about the Championship on Monday, the Badgers and Wildcats game will be one to remember. We know the 7 foot giants on Calipari's team haven't lost a game, but let me tell you, THE RUN ENDS HERE. Right now, Saturday night, it ends. You heard it here first on patburke.net. Soon to be Wooden Award winner Frank "The Tank" Kaminsky, Sam Dekker, and company are the real deal. You can give me any comments below (and please do) about how Kentucky's going to finish undefeated. But, it's bologna. The Wildcats will finally fall this year because of the versatile players that Bo Ryan has. Kentucky's 7 footers favor the middle, and Wisconsin plays this outside - in game that could make those 7 footers isolated at some times. When your center can hit the 3 constantly, it takes a big man out of the middle. They say you live by the three, and that you die by the three, but the three will take Wisconsin to the championship game.

Final Score: Wisconsin 68 - Kentucky 62

So Frank, the Duke Blue Devils and Coach K are.....

So, in my eyes, the championship game is Duke against Wisconsin. Though if Duke wins I win $1,000, here on patburke.net, we speak the truth. Kaminsky will beat out Okafor for the Wooden Award, and the National Championship. If and when Wisconsin beats Kentucky, that momentum along with their skill can carry them to victory, and NCAA glory.

Final Score: Wisconsin 71 - Duke 70

Kaminsky, Dekker, Bo Ryan, and co will reign supreme at the end of the tourney, capping off a momentous tourney run, studded with triumphant victories over UNC, Arizona, UK, and Duke. The Wisconsin Badgers have my pick to win it all.
